We are looking for an experienced Duty Manager to join our team.

- Provide support to the various Food and Beverage outlets as needed / Proactively allocating staff to cover peeks in business demand / Deliver superior guest services, ensuring guest satisfaction and quality of service delivery /Meeting with prospective clients to sell and organise weddings and events / Deputising for the General Manager during your shifts / Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are monitored and met / Preparing staffing schedules that reflect the business demands / Training and evaluate staff performance / Nurture a positive working environment, holding regular team talks and daily briefings /Cash handling and daily banking procedures / Opening and closing of the business / Respond efficiently to customer questions and complaints / Monitor operations and initiate corrective actions / Implement innovative strategies to improve productivity and sales / Control costs and minimize waste / Strategies to improve productivity and sales.

You will need a strong background in high quality food service including events and corporate hospitality. You will need strong leadership skills with a hands on approach for this role together with the ability to build strong relationships with our customers and staff. This is NOT an office based role. A keen interest and knowledge of wine would be advantageous. Experience of Hotel Duty Management shifts is essential for this role. Experience of Rota planning and strong time management skills are essential. It is important that you are well presented, warm, welcoming and that you can demonstrate an understanding of what it means to deliver excellent standards in customer service.

Marygreen Manor Hotel is looking for a Hotel Receptionist. The hotel offers a lovely 2 Rosette awarded dining room plus lounge bar and a garden area that is busy during the summer months. There is also a busy conference, wedding and banqueting operation.
The Hotel Receptionist job will be responsible for dealing with check in/out’s, processing payments and cash handling for the restaurant, bar and resident payments. You will be dealing with telephone enquiries and using the in-house reservations system (Reslynx) to book rooms. You will also take restaurant and lounge bookings using the online ‘Bookatable’ system. The Receptionist job will involve liaising with multiple departments to help ensure the smooth and successful operation of the hotel. Previous experience using Guestline Reslynx, Bookatable and Guestline EPOS would be advantageous but is not essential.
To be successful you will have previous hotel experience, either as Receptionist or other similar customer facing Hotel position, although training can be provided for the right candidate. It is important that you are well presented, warm, welcoming and that you can demonstrate an understanding of what it means to deliver excellent standards in customer service.
Work patters as follows: 5 Days out of 7. Mixture of Early shifts (7:00 – 15:30) and Late shifts (15:00 – 23:30) inclusive of Weekends and Bank Holidays and a 40 – 45 Hours Per week.
